Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry at Stevens Chapel is one of a kind! In addition to our age focused Sunday School classes, our Sunday morning worship service is also designed to meet the needs and interests of our children, as we strive to teach them the way of the Lord. During our worship service the puppet ministry team performs a Bible story for our children, which beings our Children's Church program each week. In addition to our Sunday activities, our children also play an integral role in our special programs such as our Easter and Christmas programs. The children also go to Fort Caswell on Oak Island each summer for "The Children's Retreat." Additionally, we also have special events for the children in our throughout the year including: Vacation Bible School, a Fall Festival, Trunk-or-Treat, and other fun events. |
Youth Fellowship
Our youth fellowship program is called CHOSEN. In addition to our youth Sunday School class, our youth group meets each select Sunday afternoons at 5:00 pm for fellowship. Check the bulletin and this website for meeting dates! At youth group we engage the Bible through an interactive study and discussion of the Bible. We also enjoy refreshments and games during our time of fellowship. In addition to our youth fellowship, our youth also assist elders in our congregation and community with yard work and other tasks. |

Jolly Elders
Greetings from the Jolly Elders at Steven Chapel Baptist Church! The Jolly Elders is composed of the seniors in our church, and meet on a monthly basis. Our meetings include a meal furnished by the church, games, and often times a visiting music group or speaker. The Jolly Elders also go on trips throughout the state, and occasionally out of state. We would love for you to come and join our happy and fun group of senior Christians, as we socialize and worship our Lord. |
Baptist Men
The mission of the Baptist Men of Stevens Chapel Baptist Church is to worship God, and to obey Him by serving others through the church. The Baptist Men work at helping those in the church and local area in need of assistance. The Baptist Men provide assistance through the construction of handicap ramps, home and building repairs, and yard work. Our Baptist Men work in close conjuncture with the Building and Grounds Committee in maintaining our church campus. They also help with various fundraising events throughout the year, as well as sponsor activities such as our annual Sweetheart Banquet. The Baptist Men meet on the fourth Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm. |

Baptist Women
Our ladies gather once a month on the third Thursday, usually at the home of a member. They enjoy doing mission work. Each year, the ladies take a trip for a spiritual retreat and fellowship. |
CARE: Christian Actively Reaching Everyone
Meets once each month. Some of the participants visit, some take food to the sick and shut-ins, some send cards to people with special needs and those celebrating special days. Together, the group prays for our church family and others who may have special concerns. |
